He was born in Johnstown, son of Michael P. and Mary Barno. Surviving are his wife, Irene ; two children: Eric Michael of Deale, Md., and Jean M. Maisano of New Rochelle, N.Y.; two grandsons; and three siblings: Joseph, Margaret Ann McGowan and Edward.
