NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. With assistance from State Sen. Andrea Stewart-Cousins, the New Rochelle Day Nursery School received, after an extended delay, a $12,000 state grant awarded in the 2011-12 budget year for a new boiler. "As soon as I learned of this lengthy delay in the delivery of this desperately needed funding for a new boiler, I got to work on behalf of my constituents in New Rochelle and was able to resolve the matter.
