During the College of New Rochelle's Founder's Day Luncheon on Oct. 23, four students were presented with Serviam Awards for outstanding community service: Claudia Benitez of White Plains, Marie Stephanie Gomez of New Rochelle, Sherlyn Johnson of Brooklyn and Alice Melcone of Stony Point. The annual awards honor those students who best embody the Ursuline philosophy of Serviam and support the college's mission of education for service.
