Shane W. Holmes, a New Rochelle resident, was presented the NYWEA's Student Chapter Service Award for 2014 at the 87th New York Water Environment Association annual meeting held in New York City this February. Holmes is a recent graduate of Manhattan College, receiving a bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a minor in environmental engineering, and was actively involved in the college's NYWEA Student Chapter.
