The College of New Rochelle women's basketball team has been awarded an ECAC Postseason berth as the Blue Angels have earned the #6 seed in the ECAC DIII Metro Championships and will travel to face #3 College of Staten Island on Wednesday, March 4 in a quarterfinal round matchup. The postseason tournament is the first for the basketball program since 1984-85, when the Blue Angels became the first school in New York State to advance to the NCAA Final Four, moving on the the DIII Championship game before falling to University of Scranton.
