New Rochelle man to operate TZ Bridge crane

For more than 30 years, Ron Burgess has been operating cranes at construction sites in the New York metropolitan area. When the Tappan Zee Bridge constructors start using the largest floating crane in the world to lift pieces of the new bridge into place, one of the people at the controls will be a crane operator from New Rochelle.
