New Rochelle City Council Approves Parks Overhaul

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. The New Rochelle City Council has unanimously approved a master plan from the Parks and Recreation Department that will overhaul Feeney and Lincoln parks. For more than a year, city officials have been polling and discussing what the public wants and expects from its local parks, and with the final plan now approved, crews will slowly begin the renovation, which includes new lighting, repaired walkways, expanded garden plots and increased shrubbery and foliage.
