Bill Mazer, a veteran of 60 years as a sport announcer in the New York metro area, most recently with WVOX radio in New Rochelle, died Tuesday at 92. Mazer earned the nickname "The A-Maz-In" for his deep knowledge of sports trivia, which was made evident while hosting his WNBC radio show in the 1960s where answered trivia questions.
