A 39-year-old attorney and New Rochelle resident was arrested by federal authorities Wednesday for his alleged involvement in a scheme to fraudulently raise millions of dollars to buy provocative men's magazine "Maxim," according to United States Attorney Preet Bharara and published reports. Harvey Newkirk, formerly with the Manhattan firm Bryan Cave LLP, has been charged with charged with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, one count of wire fraud and one count of aggravated identity theft.
