Zottner was born December 28, 1945, in Buffalo, to Fred and Regina Kilroy. She was raised in Buffalo, graduated from Holy Angels Academy in 1963 and Nazareth College of Rochester in 1967, and moved to New Rochelle, where they raised their family.
