Petty Officer 2nd Class Edgar Lopez, an electronics technician from New Rochelle, N.Y. is serving in the U.S. Navy aboard the San Diego-based guided missile destroyer USS Preble , which returned in November from a seven-month deployment supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
