There will hold an opening reception at transFORM Gallery for its art exhibit for the fall and winter season, "The Line, The Winter and The Wanderers," on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 5-8 p.m. at the gallery, 20 Jones St. Loosely borrowing from the title, theme and the imagery of C.S. Lewis's novel, "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe," this exhibit plays with the novel's title and explores alternative realities, journeys of discovery, struggles and the sense of atmospheric tension. Join transFORM Gallery and artists Stephanie Franks, Caren Sommer-Lazar, Evelyn Sadler and Cecile Brunswick at the reception to celebrate the new exhibit.
