NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. As New Rochelle continues transitioning toward a more energy-efficient, environmentally friendly city, Department of Public Works crews are set replace thousands of streetlights with their more sustainable counterparts. According to Mayor Noam Bramson, the city has decided to replace nearly 7,000 streetlights with their more energy-efficient LED fixtures as part of GreeNR , the city's first 20-year sustainability plan.
