According to a report by Robert Cox of Talk of the Sound, a local New Rochelle web site, discraced and former Rye City Manager Scott Pickup has been hired by the city of New Rochelle asDeputy Commissioner of Public Works in charge of Operations. Pickup left his Rye job this past summer in the wake of the Rye Golf Club scanda l and has vacated his home on Osborn Road .
