Dr. James Cone, a founder of black liberation theology, a professor at Union Theological Seminary, and the author of "The Cross and the Lynching Tree," will be the featured speaker at an inaugural New York Justice Conference: "Singing Our Song in a Strange Land," on Friday, Oct. 24 through Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, at two sites in New Rochelle. The conference kicks off with Dr. Cone's lecture at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 24 at New York Covenant Church, 500 Main Street, New Rochelle.
