New Rochelle will add red light cameras this spring at eight as-yet-undetermined intersections around the city to catch drivers who run red lights, officials announced this week. The city will contract with Hanover, MD-based Brekford Corp. to install the cameras, and once they are in place, New Rochelle will join Mount Vernon and Yonkers in operating such a system in Westchester.
