Friends of Westchester County Parks presented its annual Best Friends Awards at a reception at the Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle on Wednesday, April 8. With the theme "Celebrate a Year of Growth with Friends," this year's honorees were Westchester Medical Center, Business Council of Westchester's Rising Stars, Robert DelTorto and REI. Westchester Medical Center, which received the "2015 Best Friend" award, was recognized for its outstanding commitment to the Westchester County park system, in particular its generous support of the first-ever Westchester Winter Wonderland.
