McGovern is survived by his parents; sister, Jennifer McGovern Chang (Tom); brother, Mike McGovern; a nephew; many aunts, uncles; cousins; and friends. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30 at Holy Family Church, 83 Clove Road, New Rochelle.
