NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. New Rochelle Superintendent of Schools Brian Osborne condemned Ray Rice for his actions in an Atlantic City hotel earlier this year , but hoped that the community could rally together to end domestic violence. Rice was cut from the Baltimore Ravens and suspended indefinitely by the NFL earlier this week after a video surfaced of him striking his wife and knocking her unconscious before dragging her out of the hotel elevator.
