The College of New Rochelle has a new state designation that will bring opportunities and hands-on student activities to its 20-acre campus. It is the region's first private college to be included in the economic initiative, StartUp NY, a program that provides major incentives for businesses to relocate, start up, or significantly expand in New York state through affiliations with public and private universities, colleges and community colleges.
