Roofer Sentenced Up to 6 Years for Scamming New Rochelle Resident out of Half a Million Dollars

Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore announced that Anthony Delmaro of 44 River Street, Lindenhurst, New York, was sentenced today to an indeterminate term of 2 to 6 years in prison on his February 2014 guilty plea to one count of Grand Larceny in the Second Degree, a class "C" Felony, and one count of Grand Larceny in the Third Degree, a class "D" Felony. The defendant owned various roofing businesses and in 2005 met the victim, an elderly semi-retired graphic designer who resided in his New Rochelle home with his sister, when he made roofing repairs to the victim's home.
