The Association of Division III Independents has named The College of New Rochelle volleyball outside hitter Fabiola Padilla Rios its Student-Athlete of the Month for the month of September, the conference released recently. Padilla Rios has made an immediate impact for the Blue Angels in her rookie season, helping lead The College of New Rochelle to a 15-4 record in September, with the Blue Angels closing out the month by winning 15 of their last 16, with 13 coming in straight sets.
