Members of the New Rochelle Board of Education are calling on Gov. Andrew Cuomo to release a 2015-16 state aid proposal and $1 billion in school aid increase that he cited in his recent "State of the State" address. Last week, the board approved a resolution that calls on Cuomo "to amend his Executive Budget proposal to include a state aid proposal that allocates and distributes to school districts the approximate $1.1 billion school aid increase."
