NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. New Rochelle's Department of Public Works, Bureau of Streets and Highways will begin collecting yard waste on Tuesday. Residents must place yard waste at the curb by 7 a.m. on their scheduled collection day; during summer months the waste should be placed outside by 6 a.m. Brush and branches must be no longer than 4 feet and the diameter must not exceed 3 inches; such debris should be tied in bundles.
