Iorio was born in Cosenza, Italy to Serafino and Maria Iorio, emigrating to the United States in 1947 and serving in the Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Antoinette , two daughters, Roseanne Santoro and her husband, Joseph, Kathy Riess and her husband, Peter, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and his brother, Frank.
