Police and SWAT teams blocked off traffic in Eastchester in the vicinity of Joyce Road and Lincoln Place near Anne Hutchinson Elementary School early Saturday evening on reports of a hostage situation but entered the home and determined that the reported incident was unfounded, according to WABC-TV. SWAT teams clad in bulletproof vests and wearing helmets were spotted in the area starting around 6 p.m., along with Westchester County police and police officers from Eastchester, Tuckahoe, Greenburgh and New Rochelle, according to a report on LoHud.com.
