Pelham East Apartments, a complex on Pelham Road in New Rochelle, is facing a federal lawsuit for allegedly refusing to rent to black apartment seekers, according to The Journal News . The nonprofit Fair Housing Justice Center investigated a claim by a prospective black tenant who was denied an apartment, and found cause to file the discrimination lawsuit.
