Mount Vernon Holds Off New Rochelle's Rally Before Standing-Room Only Crowd

When the New Rochelle and Mount Vernon High School boys basketball teams get together, it's usually the hottest ticket in town, and Thursday at New Rochelle High School was no different. With a standing-room only crowd inside the building and dozens more stuck outside in the cold and unable to get in, it was the Knights who held off a late surge from the host, and held on for a 61-57 victory.
