The College of New Rochelle softball team took the five-time defending HVIAC Champion St. Joseph's College-Brooklyn to the brink in the conference game Wednesday night at Flowers Park, scoring the most runs against the Lady Bears in the history of the series between the two teams. After being retired in order in each of the first two innings, while St. Joseph's built a 3-0 lead, the Blue Angels mounted a rally in the bottom of the third in the front end of the scheduled double header.
