NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. The Board of Education has extended the deadline for the community to offer input into the Strategic Roadmap district officials are putting together to shape the future of schools in the city. Dating to last year, the board has been engaging in "meaningful public conversations" as it continues developing a five-year plan, through 2020, that will center on promoting intellectual development, safe and respectful school grounds, a talented faculty, connecting with the community and exercising fiscal responsibility in trying economic times.
