NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. Pet Rescue, a non-profit animal rescue organization, will honor Broadway talent and animal trainer Bill Berloni during its "Applause for Paws" gala on Friday, Feb. 27. The event will be held at The Fountainhead in New Rochelle from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Berloni has trained several animals, some of them rescued, for Broadway shows, television episodes and movies including "Legally Blonde" and "Annie." He is a 2011 Tony Honoree for Excellence in Theatre and a winner of the 2014 Outer Critics Circle Award for special achievement.
