New Rochelle Mayor To Join Mulch-Mowing Demonstration

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. With city officials continuing to educate the public of its new leaf-collection policies, the College of New Rochelle will host a demonstration to showcase the benefits of mulch mowing featuring Mayor Noam Bramson. Earlier this year, the City Council approved a change in the law, determining that loose piles of leaves would not be picked up at curbside any longer, at a savings of approximately $400,000 to the city.
