A man with a rifle approached drivers of two vehicles on Potter Avenue near the Marshall's Department Store in New Rochelle shortly after 9 p.m. on Wednesday. Witnesses told police the man aimed the gun at one driver, then the next before breaking off and walking down Potter Avenue towards Palmer Avenue.
