No injuries were reported in the blast, which occurred near the Stop and Shop at about 8:15 a.m. New Rochelle fire personnel, who are stationed across the street from where the blast occurred were on the scene immediately. "The whole building shook when we were trying to figure out what it was," Fire Chief Robert Benz told News 12, adding that flames could be seen shooting out of the manhole.
