Speaking before a standing-room-only crowd of civic and business leaders, residents and other stakeholders, New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson rallied his city to seize an unprecedented opportunity to develop and invigorate its downtown. Calling economic development "the preeminent challenge" facing New Rochelle, Bramson noted that "the health of the downtown is linked to everything else - our tax base, our property values, our access to jobs."
