NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. In an attempt to assuage local anger over damaged roadways following rough winter weather, the New Rochelle City Council has pledged emergency funds to repair the potholes populating city streets. The City Council has unanimously approved a $200,000 expenditure that will allow the Department of Public Works to outsource and retain contractors to supplement repair efforts.
