John K. O'Connell, a Yonkers resident, died of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease on Wednesday, Jan. 14, in New Rochelle. He was 59. O'Connell was born in Yonkers on Jan. 12, 1956, to John W. and Rose Young O'Connell.
