The partnership between Montefiore Health System and White Plains Hospital has been approved by the New York State Health Commissioner. White Plains Hospital is now a member of Montefiore Health System , which also includes Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital The two institutions released a statement, saying, "Our institutions are partnering to bridge the divide between academic medical centers and community hospitals - giving Westchester the best of both worlds.
