NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. An exhibition featuring the work of children's book illustrator James Ransome will open Feb. 8 at the New Rochelle Public Library's Lumen Winter Gallery. "Folks: Picture Book Art of James Ransome" will include more than 50 paintings created by the artist, who is known for chronicling African-American history, traditions and experiences.
